After a brilliant 10 years at Bridge Cottage Bistro in Sandsend, unfortunately the world in 2020 forced our unscheduled departure.

The good news is, that we are working our socks off renovating a 1930’s hairdresser’s turned cafe, to become our new bistro and tea house on Scarborough South Cliff.

It is still a work in progress, but all updates will be posted here and we look forward to offering up some classic dishes, rare teas and sweet treats all with an accompaniment of jazz.

We love Francis' little quirks, and learning more about her history. The stained glass at the back of the building pre dates the hair salon, (we guess because it was used as a cupboard!!) and was most likely installed when this was a post office/stat
